What it is

Visiting the dentist for the first time can be daunting for both you and your child. At ABC Dental, we prioritize creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that your child's initial dental experience is comfortable and fear-free. Our team of caring pediatric dentists is dedicated to making dental visits enjoyable, fostering a love for dental care, and instilling lifelong healthy oral hygiene habits.

When it helps

• Within 6 months of your child's first tooth erupting
• By your child's 1st birthday
• If your child has never visited a dentist before
• When transitioning from another dental practice

What to expect at ABC Dental

Your first visit establishes a baseline dental record for your child. We'll complete medical and dental history forms, perform a simple oral exam noting which teeth have grown, check for cavities, take X-rays if your child allows, and discuss brushing and flossing techniques. Since your child's mouth is constantly changing, we recommend visits every 6 months for continuing care.
